Asus’s India arm on Monday launched a new smartphone — Zenfone Max — priced at Rs.9,999.
The new phone, which comes with a 5,000 mAH battery, will be available at Asus exclusive stores and other retailers from second fortnight of January. Consumers can pre-book the phone starting Monday on Amazon.in and Flipkart.in.
The Max, which has a 5.2 mm body, sports a 13-megapixel rear and five-megapixel front camera.

It combines a powerful battery with an innovative camera making it the perfect utility product for users who demand performance at all times,” Peter Chang, region head – South Asia and country manager for ASUS India, said.
The 4G-LTE enabled phone also comes with a ASUS TruVivid technology that supports better clarity, brightness and touch responsiveness. It is powered by a Qualcomm 8916 (Snapdragon 410) quad-core processor with 2GB RAM unit along with 16GB of internal memory expandable to 64GB.
